MEET HERB

My wife and I purchased our first Broward County house on July 31st, 1995 right before hurricane Erin struck Florida. We then moved to our current home in Pembroke Pines where we enjoy a wonderful life with our family and friends.

I have served in the Economic Development Board of the City of Pembroke Pines, served in technical advisory committees in Miami-Dade County, served as City Traffic Engineer in Buena Park, California and assisted county and state agencies.

I am a registered professional engineer in the States of Florida, California and Texas. I have worked as a civil engineer, providing planning, financing, designing and construction oversight of infrastructure projects for public agencies and private development companies.

I have been a licensed real estate professional since June 2003. I own and operate a real estate brokerage company providing residential and commercial real estate services. I have served in the Government Affairs Committee of the South Broward Board of Realtors and am currently a member of the Greater Miami Board of Realtors.

 Actively involved in my community, I served as president of the Pembroke Falls Homeowners Association and currently serve as director of the Pembroke Falls Phase 1 Homeowners Association. I was previously a member of the Greater Pembroke Pines Kiwanis Club and also served on the Government Affairs Committee of the Miramar-Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce 

My family and I are believers in Christ and attend a local church. We are avid tennis and pickleball players. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I am a first generation Hispanic immigrant as I was born in Bolivia. I am a registered Republican as I believe government should be small to foster personal freedoms so we can pursue our own happiness.
